The characteristics of the great Prophet of Islam
We are in the glorious days of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (P). Sunni Muslims consider the 12th day of the month of Rabbi al-Aval as the day of the birth of the great prophet of Islam while the Shiite Muslims celebrate on the 17th of this month.
Years ago, Imam Khomeini, the late leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, who was one of the leaders of unity in the Islamic world, took advantage of this issue for the union and rapprochement between Muslims and proclaimed the interval between these two dates as the "Week of Unity". With this denomination, these days have become an opportunity to consolidate unity among the Islamic community.
Centuries pass from the presence of a great man among humanity, but each time his name is pronounced, a new window opens for humanity. We are talking about the prophet Mohammad (P) the last one sent by God.
He presented to humanity the last and the most excellent divine teachings and offered Islam as the chosen religion for all ages and generations. According to historical evidence, in the early stages of the invitation, and even during all the years of the Prophet's life, what attracted the hearts of the people towards Islam was the very good morality, mercy and gentleness of the Prophet. People loved him from the bottom of his heart, and for many years before his election as a prophet, he was known as '' trustworthy '' for his integrity and honesty.

Since the prophets have a deep connection with God, they receive their message, they also use miracles when necessary to prove their mission along with reason and logic. A miracle is a current that flows through the permission of God and through the Prophet. All the divine prophets have had miracles according to their own conditions of time. In the Holy Quran, there are dozens of miracles from previous prophets of the prophet of Islam, such as Moses and Jesus (P), and the Prophet (S) has spoken of the miracles of the previous prophets on different occasions. Each of the prophets, according to the temporal conditions and to prove his prophecy, had a miracle that the others were unable to do so.
But with the passage of time and the change of time of those miracles, they lost their meaning because they were dedicated at the same time. Obviously, the prophet Mohamad also had many miracles as the last messenger of God. The Holy Qur'an is the greatest and most lasting miracle of the Prophet of Islam. The Koran is the most important reason for the veracity of Prophet Mohammad and his religion. A wonderful book full of divine teachings and truths. The Koran is the eternal book. A miracle that is constantly available to humans has no spatial or temporal limitations, and its content is always fresh and current. It is the best program of life and directs us towards the best way. The Qur'an the glorious and clear word of God, and no one can create such a word.
The Prophet of Islam was a messenger of divine revelation and brought the Holy Quran to save humanity. In this divine book, many of the Prophet's (P) virtues have been mentioned. The Qur'an mentions the religion of the Prophet as the supreme divine religion, and points out that the messenger of such a religion is unprecedented and enjoys high value. The verse 28 of surah Victoria (Al Fath) says: He is the One who has sent His Envoy with the Direction and the true religion, to prevail over all other religions. Allah is enough as a witness!
The Qur'an also notes that although the blessing of prophecy is dedicated only to a group of electors, this does not mean that the prophets are on the same level in terms of virtues. In this sense the holy Qur'an in verse 253 of his Vaca (Al Bacara) states: "These are the ones sent. We have preferred some more than others. ... .''
Based on the verses of the Koran, it follows that, beyond the common virtues of the envoys resolved, such as revelation, the divine book, the immunity from sin and error, the miracle and ... the great prophet of Islam has special virtues, which do not belong to other prophets, and this is attributed to the Prophet of Islam. Surah 72 of Surah Al-Hichr says: For your life! who erred in their obfuscation. The 2nd verse of the surah private rooms (Al hoyorat) says: Believers! Do not raise your voice above that of the Prophet! Do not speak to him in a loud voice, as you do among yourselves! You would expose yourself to make your works vain without realizing it.
Among other privileges of the Prophet of Islam indicated by the Qur'an is that the presence of the Prophet makes people immune to divine punishment. The verse 33 of the surah '' The booty (Al ampál) '' says: '' But Allah was not going to punish you while you were in their midst ''.
This shows that the presence of the Prophet causes the security of the nation in the face of suffering. Therefore, there is a narrative attributed to the Prophet who said: "My people, like the previous nations, will not be punished like the people of Lot or other tribes."
God has mentioned the characteristics of the Prophet Mohammad, including the fact that the Prophet belongs to the people and comes from the hearts of the people. He is familiar with suffering because he himself has suffered many difficulties in life, therefore, he is familiar with the suffering of the people and is not separated from it.
The verse 128 of the sura '' Repentance (Al taueba) '' says: A Messenger has come from you. It hurts you to suffer, long for your good. With the believers he is meek, merciful.
Someone asked Imam Ali (P) to describe the good morals of the Prophet. The Imam said: can you count the blessings of the world? That person said, "How can I count the blessings of the world, while God has said if you want to count the blessings of God You can not finish the account?" Imam Ali told the man: God in the Koran considers the blessings of the world small , but when describing the Prophet's ethics, he says: "You are the master of a great state of mind." When you are unable to count a small amount (the blessings of the world) - I how can I tell the greatness of the moral characteristics of the Prophet of God? However, know that the prophet has perfected ethics as he himself said: I was chosen to complete good ethics.
The verse 107 of the sura '' the prophets (Al anbia) '' says: We have not sent you but as mercy for the whole world.
Now, if a group does not use it and is deprived of it, it will not affect the publicity of mercy. The Messenger of God looks like the sun that shows the path of happiness to all.
The Ascension of the beloved Prophet of Islam is a spiritual journey that speaks and confirms the Holy Qur'an. The Holy Qur'an calls this journey to show the signs and wonders of the world of creation to the great prophet so that it also reveals the ways of prosperity to humanity after understanding and visiting the worlds.
In the first verses of the sura '' Star (An naym) '', God confirms the veracity of the Prophet of Islam and says: '' By the star, when it declines! Your countryman does not stray, nor goes astray. He does not speak on his own impulse. ''. And the verse 12 of the same surah says: '' Will you dispute, then, with him about what he sees? ''.
Undoubtedly, the life and behavior of the prophet of Islam are a constructive pattern for a perfect life and anyone who seeks happiness should follow this model.
The verse 46 of the surah '' The coalition (Al ahzab) '' says: as a voice that calls Allah with His permission, as a luminous torch.
God qualifies his prophet as a luminous torch. That is to say, the torch, wherever it may be and whether or not it wants to, shines on the environment. . The Prophet (peace be upon him), wherever he was, in the alley, mosque or house, illuminated the space with ethics and behavior, the quality of his actions and with his knowledge and wisdom, and enveloped the curtains of darkness and ignorance . The bright light of the Prophet Mohammad, as he conquered the hearts of the masters of thought in his time, is now also luminous, and all this is because all the movements, words and words of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were all for God and his service.
